Pine Harbour Marina - Clipper IV

Clipper IV is the lastest edition to the fleet for Pine Harbour Marina.  This 17 mtr ferry has been built to service the commuter route between Auckland and Pine Harbour Marina.  Due to the popularity of the service this new ferry is larger and carries 90 seated passengers.

The interior colour scheme complements the existing vessels and reinforces the fleets image.  Clipper IV features an upbeat colour scheme of tangerine and charcoal floral and striped upholstery and has coordinating coloured floor tiles.  Clipper IV was designed by Teknicraft and built by Q-West Boat Builders.

Arataki - Port Of Tauranga Pilot Vessel

Arataki is a 16.5 mtr Pilot Boat designed by Bakewell White and built by Q-West Boat Builders.  The colour scheme was based around selecting hard wearing products that are easy to maintain whilst keeping a smart no fuss colour scheme.

Mararoa - Meridian Energy Crew Vessel

19 mtr Mararoa was built for Meridian Enerygy as a crew vessel to transport crews across Lake Manapouri to the power station.  The vessel was designed by Incat Crowther and build by Q-West Boat Builders.  Parkhurst Design sourced and specified the upholstery, floor and wall coverings.  The interior colour scheme and products selected were chosen to meet the particular requirements of hard working work boat.

Whale Watch Kaikoura

The latest addition to the Whale Watch Kaikoura fleet is this 17.9 mtr catamaran “Wawahia” Designed by Teknicraft Design and built by Q-West boat builders. Parkhurst Design was asked to specified the interior colour scheme. As the vessel has a very specific use, careful attention was made to selecting products which would withstand heavy use and perform in this unique environment.

Sahara – 15.2 mtr Elite Mid Pilot House Motoryacht

This motoryacht was built at Bartlett Marine – Auckland. The owners brief was for an interior colour scheme that could be easily maintained. The colours and products required were to be timeless with an overall warm and inviting ambience.

Real Journeys - MV Sinbad

Real Journeys operates its large tourism business in some of the most spectacular parts of New Zealand. The company has bases in Te Anau, Milford, manapouri, Queenstwon, Bluff and Stewart Island, their fleet of vessels is large and includes the iconic vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw. The latest addition to the fleet is MV Sinbad. Real Journeys approached Parkhurst Design to carry out the interior colour scheme for the vessel which will provide a premium cruise experience in Milford Sound.

Highlander

Highlander is an Elite 17.2 mtr Sedan Motor Yacht which was built at Allan Tongs Boat Builders – Auckland. The clients brief and desire was for a traditional colour scheme befitting the design of the vessel.

Formula Cruisers Icon 6

Formula Cruisers have been working with Parkhurst Design to create the interior styling for the latest examples in their ICON range of motor yachts, bringing about a balance of style and usability.

Subtle interior changes throughout have updated and modernized this range of motor yachts.

Elite 18 mtr Midpilot House Motor Yacht

Vanquish is an Elite 18 mtr Midpilot House Motor yacht was built for an Auckland client. The boat was built at Scott Lane Boat builders, the interior colour scheme is based on understated elegance. The owner's requirements were for a timeless, graceful yet contemporary interior.

Formula Cruisers Icon Motor Yachts

This is the first boat in Formula Cruisers Icon range that is the result of the collaboration between Parkhurst Design and Formula Cruisers. The boats interior has been modified to reflect a contemporary modern interior. 

Rascal

Rascal is a 14.8m Roger Hill designed power catamaran which was built by Vaudrey Miller Yachts. The owners brief was that the interior should reflect a family oriented cruising vessel optimised for extended coastal cruising and voyages to the Pacific Islands. 

NZ Police Maritime Unit - Deodar III & Lady Elizabeth IV

 Parkhurst Design was contracted by Q-West builders to carry out the interior colour schemes for the two new 18.5 mtr vessels for the New Zealand Police Maritime Unit.  The vessels are based in Auckland and Wellington are used for maritime safety and border control. All interior products were selected for their robust and easy care nature. The colours throughout have been intentionally chosen for the harmony of those working aboard for lengthy periods of time.

Clipper 3

Another ferry for Pine Harbour Marina. This ferry was added to the fleet to help service the runs between the marina, down town Auckland and various destinations in the Hauraki Gulf. To enforce the fleet’s identity the colour scheme was based on the design of previous Pine Harbour Ferry, but this time in another colourway.

Coastal Cowboy

 Coastal Cowboy is the follow on boat for an existing client. The client’s previous boat (Coastal Cowgirl ) was launched in 2005, but the owner found he required a larger vessel, so an up scaled version was ordered.

This new Elite Midpilot House Motor yacht has increased in size to 18 mtrs. The challenge here was that the owner was already very happy and satisfied with the interior of his existing boat, but set down the challenge for Parkhurst Design to come up with an interior colour scheme that is even better than the last. This has resulted in an interior colour scheme that is sophisticated palette of texture and subtle pattern.

This boat has been exhibited in Australia at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show and was featured in the May/June 07 edition of Oceans Magazine and the June/July 07 edition of Sea Spray Magazine – see attached article.

Teknicraft 14.8 mtrs Power Catamaran

 This boat was built by Q-West Boat Builder in Wanganui and is constructed from aluminium. The Wellington based clients contacted Parkhurst Design in the early stages of the building project. The brief for the boats interior was to be contemporary and striking. This has been achieved through the selection of innovative products and offset by a colour scheme of black, white, silver and cobalt blue soft furnishings.
