Parkhurst Design is a bespoke interior design studio that specialise in marine and residential interior design.


Designer and director, Kim Lilley approaches every project as a fresh new design job. As no two clients are the same, this reflects in the individual outcome of the work.


Kim looks at each client's dreams for their project. Parkhurst Design endeavours to find out what sort of lifestyle the clients lead, how they live their life onboard their boats or in their homes. Parkhurst Design work along side respected, naval architects, architects, boat builders and builders to achieve the very best result.

The Process.


The process begins by meeting the client and extracting as much information on them and the project. From this point work begins on developing the concept.

Parkhurst Design selects products from an array of suppliers representing world class products. A great deal of emphasis is placed on specifying the right product for the purpose intended. Parkhurst Design liaises closely with the trade's people who will eventually work with the product to ensure they are comfortable with what is specified.

Parkhurst Design can work with the client from the very start of the project right through to the end ensuring every detail is realised. This can involve working directly with the boat designer and boat builder or architect and builder. Detailed specifications are produced, so everyone involved is clear about the details and design work.


From the initial selection of hard surfaces right through to the manufacture and installation of soft furnishings, Parkhurst Design is on hand to guide the client through the process. This speeds up the process for the boat builder or builders and eases the stress from the clients point of view.
